I’ve never heard of TreadRight, what is it?
Is TreadRight a new initiative?
TTC's family of brands have always supported philanthropic causes, and we established our foundation - originally called The Travel Corporation Conservation Foundation - in 2008. The TreadRight Foundation name reflects the broader scope of work the foundation now engages in and easily communicates the values of our organisation to our clients and the travel industry.
What does the TreadRight team do?
The TreadRight team provides guidance to our brands and assistance with project selection and management of foundation project partnerships. The team also provides our brands with tools and resources to communicate the work of TreadRight to those who travel with us, our trade and media partners.
Does TreadRight make a profit?
No. TreadRight is registered in Switerzland as a not-for-profit foundation. The financial contributions made by each TTC brand go directly to our projects. Administration costs are kept to an absolute minimum with TTC providing office space for the TreadRight Program Manager & Coordinator as well as marketing, design and technical support. This addittional support is provided free of charge.
Can I donate to TreadRight?
No. At TTC and TreadRight, we believe the onus is on us to do our part and it is not our place to ask our guests to help us support our sustainability initiatives. However, if you would like to help support our many inspiring partners, you can donate to them directly by clicking on the links below:
What projects does TreadRight support?
Since 2008 we have helped to support more than 35 sustainable projects in more than 30 destinations around the world. For a complete list of projects, visit our Project Page.
