TreadRight has partnered with leading responsible tourism and sustainable travel organizations all around the world to help implement and facilitate our 60+ projects worldwide. The foundation is continuously working to find the right partners in the destinations TTC visits to help further our mission to MAKE TRAVEL MATTER®. We couldn't do what we do if it wasn't for the tireless work of our inspiring projects partners. They are the experts, pioneers, and leaders in each of their respective fields and it is our privilege to partner with them to further our mission and theirs.
This former TreadRight project came about when the picturesque town of Vernazza, which sits in the middle of the Cinque Terre National Park, was hit by a devastating storm in 2011. The destructive storm caused flooding and landslides, burying Vernazza in more than 13 feet of mud and debris.
