PROTECTION & AWARENESS

All Projects

TreadRight has partnered with leading responsible tourism and sustainable travel organizations all around the world to help implement and facilitate our 50+ projects worldwide. The foundation is continuously working to find the right partners in the destinations TTC visits to help further our mission to make travel matter. We couldn't do what we do if it wasn't for the tireless work of our inspiring projects partners. They are the experts, pioneers, and leaders in each of their respective fields and it is our privilege to partner with them to further our mission and theirs.

At TreadRight, we are committed to encouraging the cultures, traditions and arts of the communities we visit to thrive. We seek to enable these communities to see the true benefit from tourism through economic empowerment. We do this through our support of mirco-enterprises, and community based tourism initiatives that build positive futures for community members and their families.

Reducing the environmental impact of our business isn’t just a “nice-to-have” for us, it’s at the core of all that we do. Together with The Travel Corporation (TTC), we’ve committed to eliminating all avoidable single-use plastics in both our offices and out on the road by 2022. And that’s just the beginning.

In 2017, we introduced our e-docs program which allows our guests to receive their travel documents digitally, replacing the need for paper while also having a tree planted in their name as part of our plant a tree initiative.

As for our fleet of coaches, they are some of the most efficient in Europe, thanks to the technology of the Euro 6 engine. All of this, while supporting projects striving to keep our oceans and coastlines clean, are just some of the ways we’ve committed to safeguarding the future of our planet.

The world’s wildlife population is balancing on a dangerous precipice, so it is our responsibility to protect those species most at risk. Partnering with leading wildlife organisations, we work to protect and rehabilitate elephant, rhino and big cat populations around the world, while also educating our guests on ethical wildlife experiences.
